Questions
Everything you're probably wondering.
Do I need to complete the Seeing Without Eyes course first?
We strongly recommend it.
The MatrixVision Home Practitioner Course — Seeing Without Eyes is the foundation programme. It develops structured perception, target handling, disciplined practice and honest recording before the pathway moves into Direct Cognition.
This course is the next-stage specialist programme. It changes the emphasis from trying to perceive information visually toward noticing a first impression, intuitive signal or immediate sense of knowing and then testing that response against a defined target.
New to MatrixVision? Our recommended pathway is Seeing Without Eyes first, then Intuition & Direct Cognition.
Do I need previous experience with intuition or Direct Cognition?
No specialist background in intuition is required. The course begins by defining the working terms, showing how intuitive signals may appear, separating first impression from later analysis and introducing the preparation state used throughout the practical modules.
Because this is designed as a next-stage MatrixVision course, completing Seeing Without Eyes first gives you the strongest foundation for the training process.
Can I complete the programme entirely from home?
Yes. The programme is designed specifically for structured online home training. The Training Videos, Comprehensive Course Workbook, Interactive Training Applications and Online Record & Performance System are designed to work together rather than as separate extras.
You can watch the instruction, run the exercise, record the result, review the session and repeat the practice from home at your own pace.
Can I practise on my own, or do I need a partner?
Most of the course can be completed independently. The Interactive Training Applications provide digital alternatives for several exercises and remove the need for another person to prepare every supported target.
Sender–receiver, back-to-back and remote exercises are designed to benefit from a partner because another person can create or hold information that is genuinely unknown to you. Where no partner is available, the course provides solo or online alternatives where appropriate.
What are the five Interactive Training Applications?
The course includes five dedicated MatrixVision digital training applications:
- Present Target Practice — controlled present-target recognition with committed response, reveal and Practice History.
- Hidden Information Retrieval — envelope-based practice with concealed colours, symbols, numbers, words and mixed targets.
- Sender–Receiver — guided colour and symbol transmission using digital sender and receiver stages.
- Back-to-Back Drawing — structured letter, word, shape and drawing transmission practice.
- Hidden Ball Detection — location-based target practice with guided timing, reveal and Practice History.
For supported exercises, the applications prepare or conceal targets, guide the sequence and control when the answer is revealed. This reduces preparation time and makes repeated home practice easier.
Applications = training. The Online Record & Performance System is separate and is used for central course records, progress review and reports.
Do the Interactive Training Applications replace physical practice materials?
No. They are designed to complement physical practice, not replace it.
The workbook recommends balancing digital practice with real cards, envelopes, everyday objects and partner work. The applications are particularly useful when you want a fair concealed target, a consistent practice rhythm or an independent alternative to manual setup.
Do the training applications keep my practice results?
Yes. Each application keeps its own app-based session results or Practice History for completed sessions. This lets you review what happened inside that specific application.
Application history is intentionally separate from the central Online Record & Performance System. The app shows the session result; your broader course records capture the full practice process, reflections and longer-term review.
What is the Online Record & Performance System?
The Online Record & Performance System is the central digital record environment for the course. It contains three main record areas:
- Workbook Exercise Records — workbook reflections and chapter checklists with chapter, section and page references.
- 21-Day Practice Records — Day 1 to Day 21, weekly reviews, Practice Log and Final Reflection.
- Direct Cognition Practice Record — a reusable ten-round record for individual Direct Cognition practice sessions.
Where enough information has been entered, the system can calculate totals, progress feedback and chance comparisons and prepare dedicated report previews.
Record once, review over time. The purpose is to reduce manual administration and give you a clearer record of your development than memory alone can provide.
How is the Online Record & Performance System different from application Practice History?
The five Interactive Training Applications keep their own session histories for app-based practice. That is useful for reviewing the result of sessions completed inside that application.
The Online Record & Performance System is broader. It organises your workbook work, 21-Day programme and Direct Cognition Practice Records in one place and uses those records to generate progress and review reports.
In simple terms: the applications help you practise; the record system helps you organise, review and understand the training over time.
What reports can I review?
The current Online Record & Performance System includes six dedicated report types:
- Workbook Progress Report — completion across workbook reflections and chapter checklists.
- Workbook Reflection & Review Report — workbook reflections and checklists brought together for review and printing.
- Direct Cognition Combined Training Report — combined results from all saved Direct Cognition Practice Records, grouped by comparable exercise and target set.
- 21-Day Progress Report — completion, recorded totals, standard feedback and the recommended next step.
- 21-Day Results & Chance Report — target-type totals, chance expectation, typical ranges and standard interpretation.
- 21-Day Completion Report — Practice Log, results, progress feedback and Final Reflection combined in one final report.
Reports can be reviewed on screen and printed or saved as PDF for your own records.
The goal is not just a score. The reports help you review completion, consistency, accuracy, reflections and patterns across repeated practice.
Where are my digital practice records stored?
The current record environment stores entries in the browser on the device you are using and does not submit those records to MatrixVision. Application Practice History is also browser-based.
Because browser storage can be cleared and does not automatically follow you to another device, use the available download, print or PDF functions when you want an additional long-term copy of important records.
How much video training is included?
The complete platform contains 60 Training Videos with a total video duration of 4 hours 22 minutes 58 seconds.
This includes 38 core-course videos and 22 videos in the 21-Day Guided Training Programme.
How does the 21-Day Guided Training Programme work?
After the core learning modules, the programme moves into a structured 21-day practice sequence. It includes one introduction and 21 daily guidance videos.
Each day has one clear focus, a defined exercise, a record and a reflection. The sequence develops from first-impression awareness and colour work into symbols, objects, concealed information, partner practice, transmission, remote practice and a final mixed Direct Cognition challenge.
Days 7, 14 and 21 are review points, with Day 21 leading into the Final Reflection and Continuing Practice Plan.
How much time should I allow for the 21-Day programme?
The workbook recommends approximately 20–30 minutes of practical work per day, in addition to the short guidance video.
Across the 21-day sequence, that is roughly 7–10.5 hours of focused independent practice. The programme is a sequence rather than a rigid calendar, so if you miss a day you continue from where you stopped rather than doubling up.
What is included in the Comprehensive Course Workbook?
The workbook is the detailed companion to the video course. It includes fuller explanations, step-by-step exercise protocols, tools required, recommended practice time, target-integrity guidance, recording instructions, reflections, chapter reviews, common experiences, common mistakes, signs of progress and continuing-practice guidance.
The workbook and videos are designed to be used together: watch the lesson, use the workbook for the full protocol, practise, record and reflect.
Which languages are available?

Can I repeat lessons and exercises?
Yes. The programme is self-paced and includes lifetime course access. You can return to explanations, repeat training sessions, revisit records and continue the 21-Day sequence at the pace that works for you.
The workbook specifically emphasises repeated practice and patterns over time rather than judging progress from one session.
Does the course guarantee a particular result or level of accuracy?
No. Individual experiences and performance vary. The programme provides a structured method for practice, recording, reveal and review; it does not guarantee a particular accuracy level, a fixed timeline or a specific outcome.
Accuracy is not the only measure of course completion. Honest recording, understanding the process and completing the practical work are central to the training.
Can this training be used for medical, legal, financial or other important decisions?
No. MatrixVision is educational and experiential training. The exercises are not intended for medical diagnosis, psychological assessment, financial decisions, legal matters, relationship decisions, safety decisions or other high-stakes situations.
Use qualified professional advice and reliable information for decisions in those areas.
